The Australian Frailty Network (AFN) Part-time (60%), fixed-term position for up to 12 months Base salary will be in the range $111,154 - $124,619 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 8) Based at Princess Alexandra Hospital About This OpportunityThis exciting opportunity will see you overseeing the daily activities of the Health Coach (HC) team, ensuring the effective operation of the coaching service. You will play a key role in developing resources, guides, and procedures to support the delivery of a behaviour change program based on the Fittest study protocol, aimed at slowing the progression of frailty in older adults living in the community.Reporting to the Coordinating Research Fellow, you will also be responsible for training and supervising junior Health Coaches, while managing your own coaching caseload to ensure high-quality service delivery.Key responsibilities will include: (Maximum 3-4 points) Oversee day-to-day Health Coaching operations, including scheduling, training, and maintaining service quality Apply motivational interviewing and behaviour change techniques to help participants achieve goals focused on frailty prevention (medication, social support, nutrition, exercise) Lead and manage the Health Coach team, conducting performance reviews and ensuring WH&S compliance Ensure accurate data collection and reporting, meeting project requirements and maintaining data integrity About UQAs part of the UQ community, you will have the opportunity to work alongside the brightest minds, who have joined us from all over the world.Everyone here has a role to play.
