To support their ever-growing team, they now require the services of a dynamic and passionate individual in the role of Head of People, Culture and Safety.As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Head of People and Culture will be responsible for providing expert leadership and operational guidance to support the company’s human resources and safety functions, in the delivery of operational plans. To achieve this, the successful candidate will possess high levels of drive and commitment, and have a proven track record of success in the design and delivery of organisational capability programs, as well as other initiatives designed to drive employee engagement and satisfaction. The individual’s experience and expertise in the design of highly effective strategies to deliver a skilled, engaged and motivated workforce is the cornerstone to achieving success in the role.The Position:Provide leadership across all aspects of People, Culture and Safety;Work with the CEO to support the development of a performance culture by identifying gaps between existing and desired practices throughout the organisation;Work with the People, Culture and Safety team to develop a strategic plan that fosters productivity, innovation and creativity;Create a sense of fulfilment and purpose within the P&C function to help build a success culture within the group;Work with both external and internal stakeholders to ensure the successful rollout of Employment Hero;Design and facilitate leadership development programs to build internal capability and succession, and coach and mentor leaders in the rollout of initiatives across their respective teams;Provide leadership, support and guidance to the team in the delivery of PALM and Safety programs to support operations;Support managers in the effective design and facilitation of programs to upskill and develop all employees.The Person:Formal qualifications in an HR related discipline;Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HR leadership role essential with exposure to agribusiness environment highly desirable, though not essential;Proven track record of success in the design and delivery of organisational development and operational excellence initiatives;In-depth knowledge of best practice in ER, IR and industry trends;Thorough understanding of HRIS and payroll systems, with experience working with Microsoft Dynamics and Employment Hero an advantage;High levels of emotional intelligence, ability to relate at all levels of the organisation;Highly consultative, strength in communication, organised and empathetic.Are you a passionate People and Culture leader with a flair for developing people and systems?
