Planning and TeachingWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM to 5:00 PMSecondary Math Teaching: Teachers are expected to deliver up to 27 teaching periods per week, plus 2 fixed ECA or Tutorial periods. 40 minutes per periodOperational Flexibility: Teachers may be asked to adjust their schedules occasionally to meet the needs of the school community, which includes supporting colleagues by covering classes when necessaryLesson Planning: Teachers have access to quality resources to support lesson planning and student engagement while allowing flexibility in their approachNon-Contact Time: Primarily for planning and administrative tasks, with occasional short-term coverage or support for colleagues as needed2. Parent Engagement and Student WellbeingAttend annual parent-teacher meetings as scheduledCollaborate with local teachers to effectively communicate with parents about academic and social matters, including follow-ups on reports and during parent-teacher meetingsRegularly update student progress each quarter in our LMS systemEnsure a purposeful and safe learning environment for all students3. Curriculum RevisionGive feedback on the school curriculum when necessaryAssist in the revision of the school’s syllabi and materials if neededC. JOB REQUIREMENTS1. QualificationsA Bachelor/Master university degree in Science or a closely related fieldCandidates with a PGCE, QTS, or a valid teaching license are strongly preferredCandidates with entry-level certifications may be considered if they are actively working toward obtaining a PGCE, teaching license, or a higher qualification2. Experiences & SkillsAt least two years of relevant teaching experience, ideally in an international or bilingual school environmentStrong classroom management skills, with the ability to implement 21st-century learning strategies, differentiated instruction, and educational interventions tailored to diverse student needsSkills in IT, including the creation of interactive presentations (PPTs)Fluent in English (minimum C1 level). Non-native teachers must have or obtain an IELTS qualification within the first yearStrong teamwork skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents to foster a supportive and productive learning environmentApplicants may be required to conduct a live in-person demo lesson or submit a sample lesson plan based on provided school materials3.
