With us, you’ll gain the skills and opportunities to build a future you’re proud of.Your opportunityAs a Metering Technician, you’ll be part of an office-based team, building on your highly practiced electrical skills to remotely commission and maintain Yurika metering in the National Electricity Market (NEM).Here’s how you’ll do it:Coordinate with installation contractors, inspectors, and network operators to arrange new metering installations, validating the accuracy and correctness of metering, and providing technical support to customers and service providers.Assist in the planning and deployment of new metering technologies, investigate, and rectify metering system defects, and understand and apply Energy Queensland policies across multiple jurisdictions.The remuneration for your new role is:9-day fortnight: from $128,919 per annum + 14.75% superannuation + applicable allowances.10-day fortnight: from $148,901 per annum + 14.75% superannuation + applicable allowances.What’s on offer?At Energy Queensland, we believe in supporting every aspect of your career and personal life.
