JOB DESCRIPTION
About the Role
Team Global Express is currently seeking a friendly and driven individual eager to join our Administration Team on a Permanent Basis at our Tennyson Location (Brisbane). This role offers you the opportunity to join a vibrant team and provide administrative support to the wider business, whilst also being able to contribute to driving an efficient operations environment from assisting with invoices to managing accounts and completing data entry tasks.
Key Responsibilities and Job Requirements
* This is a Permanent role, 7.6 hours x 5 days per week (8am Starts)
* Manage accounts, raise requisitions, process receipts, match invoices to PO’s and reconcile invoices
* Provide general administration, data entry and office support to the wider team where required
* Stock management - ensure sufficient supplies of all resources and equipment
* Order in office supplies including stationery, technology, staff uniforms and other general items
* Manage a Live Inbox and be able to liaise professionally with customers and clients of the business
* Scan and file office work and documentation, and be able to handle sensitive information in a responsible and compliant manner
* Generate reports and update spreadsheets regularly
* Must have experience in data entry and be able to use Microsoft Excel to a professional standard
* Must have strong organisation skills, a high attention to detail and be able to take on multiple tasks simultaneously
* Accounts Payable knowledge would be advantageous for this role
* Whilst experience in a similar role in Transport would be ideal, we welcome applicants who have admin and data entry experience from any field or industry. Training and support will be provided in this role.
