Hours are 8:30am - 5pm Monday - Thursday & 8:30am - 3pm on Fridays with no weekend work required.You will be primarily responsible for being a key contributor to the health and well-being of families in the region, providing high-quality medical care with a focus on patient centred services.Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:Conducting medial assessmentsDiagnosing and managing health conditions focusing on the cultural, physical and emotional needs of patientsMaintaining accurate medical records, respecting cultural sensitivities and confidentialityProviding high-quality clinical care, including diagnosing, treating, and managing both acute and chronic conditions, with an emphasis on personalised care that respects the patients contextVisiting Outreach Clinics on an occasional basisUsing culturally appropriate communication and a patient-centred approachCollaborating with GP's, nurses, allied health professionals, and community health workers to deliver integrated careParticipate in case conferences and adapt treatment strategiesBeing adaptable and willing to take on diverse clinical tasks to meet the evolving needs of the communityThis is not a telehealth role; it requires face-to-face interactions where the candidate must be able to engage and support patients effectively.About YouThe successful candidate will require membership with RACGP (Royal Australian College of General Practitioners) along with current AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) registration and Insurance Indemnity. It is essential that the successful candidate also has the ability to supervise registrars.
