As our Group Sales Manager you will play a key role in providing support to the Head of Commercial Hospitality to sell the Events, Hotel, and Hospitality business across all segments. The key goal will be to maximise occupancy and yield opportunities generated from the hospitality business across the Gold Coast property location.
A few of your responsibilities
1. Focus on driving profitable revenue across hotels/events business
2. Develop a pipeline of sales for hotel/business events
3. Provide leadership with a focus on Business Events/ Hotel sales to increase revenue based on reaching and exceeding budgeted targets.
4. Provide strategic direction and a business plan outlining core objective for allocated markets and develop a sales action plan to ensure KPI’ s are achieved.
5. Ensure time spent balances with ROI more time with highest potential clients.
What we are looking for
6. Extensive experience within the business events/hotels sector including established relationships with Professional Conference Organisers, corporate, association, government, incentive, industry decision makers
7. Ability to provide direction and support to Group Sales Executive and Co-ordinators for an integrated system of employee relations and performances, while ensuring organisational objectives are prevalent in any new initiatives
8. Ability to maintain a customer focus, ensuring that customer service delivery is timely, effective and efficient and that it meets both the customer’s (internal and external) needs and corporate standards.
9. Extensive experience in selling principles and objectives and sales targeting.
10. Tertiary and /or postgraduate qualifications in commercial or related field
You are an experienced Group Sales Manager that will provide leadership and direction to achieve business goals in the key areas of guest service, team development, organisational and financial performance. Specifically focusing on cash revenue generation for Accommodation and/or business events, assessing profitability and the key market segments to drive cash revenue.
