The role will consist of but will not be limited to the following activities:
Experience using Microsoft Project for the scheduling of complex projects and programs of work (MS Project is accessed via Project Online).Developing and maintaining a detailed project schedule that clearly articulates all project tasks, task owners, task dependencies, durations, key milestones, all key deliverables, and due dates.Tracking the status of all tasks incorporated in the project schedule and identifying actions required to address tasks that have fallen behind schedule through liaising with team leads/managers, including vendor partners.Assist in resource capacity planning across the project, using the MS Project Online capabilities.Produce weekly progress curves using a recognized methodology e.g.
Earned Value Analysis.Experience and highly proficient in using MS Project to plan and maintain project schedules.Minimum 2 years of large-scale IT project experience where you developed and managed the project schedule.Experience with PMBOK/Prince 2 project management methodology (or similar).Experience working within a large portfolio with many inter-project dependencies.Please note this role is open to Brisbane-based candidates only.
