In this role, you will be a key player in delivering tailored solutions to our customers, driving sales success, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.You will visit clients at their premises, take accurate measurements, assess installation requirements, and provide the best solutions from the Soltex product range.This role requires a passion for customer service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong client relationships. A solid background in trade and/or construction, along with an understanding of installation methods, is essential to excel in this position.Responsibilities:Client Engagement: Attend client appointments at their premises, taking precise measurements and assessing the suitability of Soltex solutions for their needs.Product Education: Educate clients on the “Soltex Difference,” explaining the unique benefits of our products and how they align with the client’s project requirements.Quotations & Proposals: Prepare tailored quotations, proposals, and presentations that meet the specific needs of customers, ensuring clear and transparent communication throughout the process.Follow Up: Maintain correspondence with clients after the initial quote to close the deal.Industry Visibility: Work with architects and designers to get Soltex products specified on projects, enhancing our brand presence in the industry.Qualifications:Customer Service Focus: A genuine passion for helping clients achieve their goals with exceptional service.Sales Experience: Proven experience in sales, ideally in a product-based role within the home improvement or construction industry.Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with an engaging and personable approach.Organised & Self-Motivated: Strong attention to detail, a high level of organisation, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Results-Driven: A focus on meeting sales targets and delivering outstanding customer experiences.Ideal Candidate:Experience: At least 5 years’ experience in on-site sales, with a strong history of success.Trade Background: A trade or trade sales background.Industry Experience: Experience in small to medium-sized trade businesses (teams of 10-20 employees) with a proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships.Physical Requirements: Physically fit to lift and move 40+ kg regularly, climb ladders and access site locations to assess fixing suitability.Tools Proficiency: Proven ability to use basic hand tools for measuring, assessing installations, and performing minor tasks on-site.Key Requirements:Manual Driver’s Licence: A valid driver’s licence is required for travel to and from client sites.Follow-Up Skills: Demonstrated ability to follow up on sales leads and close deals effectively.Excellent Communication: Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.On-Site Experience: Experience in taking measurements and providing face-to-face customer service on job sites.Training Provided:Hands-on training in trade and construction methods, including the use of basic hand tools to inspect fixing methods at client locations.Product training both on-site and in the showroom to best equip you to meet targets.Apply Now:If you’re a driven sales professional with a passion for customer service and a solid background in trade or construction, we want to hear from you!
