Retail Banking Services (RBS) is the public face of CommBank, delivering a seamless banking experience for the future, to our 10 million+ personal and small business customers. Within RBS, Everyday Products is focused on building innovative and value creating everyday products for all Australians. It is our role to drive sustainable growth of everyday transaction account products by delivering exceptional experiences for customers.
The Core Manufacturing Crew is dedicated to delivering customer obsessed home buying solutions, enabling Australians to achieve their home ownership goals, whilst having the most sophisticated risk and reward settings and ensuring responsible risk management.
The Credit Risk Strategy and Optimisation squad is accountable for optimising RBS Credit Risk and valuation strategies to deliver a seamless customer experience on their home buying journey whilst managing regulatory requirements and ensuring adequate capital returns. This squad is one of the four squads within the Core Credit Risk Value Stream, which is accountable to ensure adequate balance between risk and returns and a seamless customer experience whilst meeting responsible lending obligations.
Your reporting line is to the Chapter Area Lead, Product & Solution Management with a dotted line to the Product Owner, Credit Risk Strategy and Optimisation and will:
* Deliver on the core product strategy and roadmap.
* Deliver a market leading customer value proposition.
* Deliver strategies and control mechanisms to ensure sound credit quality of the portfolio with an objective to outperform the market through the economic cycle.
* Lead 6-8 credit risk managers across the Value Stream.
* Develop credit risk capability and coach chapter members to reach their potential, directly influencing the performance and career outcomes of your chapter members.
* Contribute to and influence outcomes for the Home Buying Chapter Area as a member of the chapter leadership team.
More specifically, you will:
* Lead and execute multiple prioritised initiatives to achieve business outcomes.
* Use a data-driven and collaborative approach to identify and deliver initiatives that search for and then solve business problems.
* Identify areas of risk and opportunities across the portfolio and develop and implement strategies to mitigate risk and/or capitalise on areas of opportunities.
* Work collaboratively with the Modelling, Pricing and other internal/external stakeholders to optimise score cut off and business returns to outperform the market through the economic cycle.
* Apply Business Acumen, Leadership, Change Management and Project Management experience to determine optimal approach in project execution.
* Lead 6-8 Chapter members, including recruitment, development and coaching to realise their full potential.
* Drive and uplift product management capabilities and skillset for the Product & Solution Management Chapter.
