Make an impact at Serco
As an Environmental Attendant at Fiona Stanley Hospital, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning services across various hospital areas, ensuring strict compliance with health and safety standards, and supporting infection prevention protocols. This part-time role offers 38 hours per fortnight, with shifts from Monday to Friday, 6 am to 2 pm, providing a balanced work-life schedule. You'll be working within a great, supportive team and a positive workplace culture, contributing to a collaborative environment focused on patient care.
As an Environmental Attendant, you’ll make a positive impact by:
- Performing daily cleaning tasks in patient, clinical, and public areas
- Using cleaning equipment and materials safely and effectively
- Adhering to infection control procedures and hospital protocols
- Collaborating with clinical staff to meet their specific cleaning needs
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness to support patient care
- Reporting any maintenance or safety issues promptly
