The Opportunity
This is an exciting role for an experienced AR/Billing/Collections Team Leader/Manager to join a fast-growing business with stable revenues and recent acquisitions. The Accounts Receivable & Billing team is made up of 6 which you will oversee whilst managing your own portfolio of customers.
There will also be the opportunity in the future to build out your own team as the business makes additional acquisitions. Currently they are 4 days on site with flexible start and finish times, based in the inner eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
The Challenge
Reporting into the Financial Controller, your key responsibilities will include:
* Lead, support and develop the AR/Billing team, currently made up of 5-6 ppl.
* Relationship management with clients and government departments
* Preparing and processing monthly invoices, statements, and reconciliations
* Monitoring overspend and exceptions to facilitate escalations
* Direct debit administration and stakeholder management
* Contributing to improvements and automations in the billing and finance systems
* Supporting the financial month-end processes, reporting, and audits
The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
* 5+ years of experience in a Accounts Receivable, Collections or Billing supervisor, team leader or manager role.
* Ability to work in a fast paced business and large team.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with all levels of stakeholders and customers.
