Our Role
Based in our Asia Pacific Headquarters in North Sydney and work in hybrid (office and home) working environment. The role is reporting to the Manager of Engineering Support. The work the Engineering Support group is responsible for providing technical support to the engineering department, primarily EPC, and to the plants.
The successful candidate can expect to be involved in the following areas:
· Work with project teams to prepare preliminary general arrangements, 2D and 3D layouts, and process flow diagrams for option analysis and feasibility studies,
· Assists and support the EPC team, Capital Projects Managers and other cross functional groups to develop scope of work documents by travelling to site, perform measurements.
· Assist sites with designs and basic drafting (new and updates) for site related projects where EPC is not involved.
· Support EPC and Operations with developing Class 5-4 cost estimates and documentation support on Capital Projects.
· Assist with the process of migrating historical documents into the engineering document management system.
· Support Operations, Maintenance and Engineering teams in reviewing drawings supplied by external consultants
· Provide project commissioning support and commissioning QC support as required
This role will require reasonable travel across our locations in Australia and New Zealand from time to time depending on the needs of the business.
To be successful in this role, you will:
· Successful years engineering experience in a multi-disciplinary approach within an industrial environment, preferably in the lime, cement, mining or other bulk material industry is a plus.
· Formal education with Diploma or Advance Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical) is preferred.
· Experienced in the use of 3D rendering software such as Revit, Inventor, AutoCAD, Recap and Navisworks. Combined with experience with project cost estimating is highly desirable
