About the Role
The Production Coordinator is responsible for setting daily priorities for operations and coordinates execution of team activities to achieve plant targets and scheduled compliance. This is a permanent full-time position working a 4on/3off roster based at Atlas, reporting to the Production and Maintenance Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Works with Operations (Supervisors) and Maintenance (Coordinator, Planner, Supervisor) to optimise the efficiency of maintenance shuts.
2. Providing input into 5-weekly schedule and shutdown planning process and assisting with budgets.
3. Assessing and providing input to attain continuous improvement of daily/weekly/monthly schedules.
4. Develop detailed Area/Plant based production forecasts.
5. Plans, develops, and implements new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimise operating costs, and effect greater utilisation of labour and materials.
6. Lead, participate, audit and improve meetings, as required by the OE&R process.
7. Development of task instructions and risk assessments as needed.
8. Coordination of shut tasks during execution.
9. Set targets for shifts and develop analysis tools to drive improvement.

11. Ability to manage coordination of tasks between departments.
12. High accuracy of work and attention to detail.
13. Strong communication skills (verbal and written).

15. Strong computer literacy.
