Position Summary
As a Principal Engineer using your diverse industry experience and technical excellence, you will help to deliver key infrastructure projects. The role will involve working with both internal and external customers, so it is essential that you have excellent communication skills, strong analytical skills and the drive to succeed.
In This Role, You Will
1. Engineering design systems and processes.
2. Provide technical leadership and expert design advice to others, often to resolve technical problems, and have leadership responsibility.
3. Sign off on technical outcomes of all projects within your portfolio.
4. Act as the first point of contact/technical solutions expert at high-level client meetings with General, Business Development and Project Delivery Managers.
5. Serve as a key stakeholder and expert for design verification, audits and process improvements for internal and external clients.
6. Oversee device and material selection and procurement.
About you:
1. Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
2. Verifiable experience working in an electrical engineering design, leadership, management, installation and commissioning role on projects within Manufacturing, Defence or Water sectors.
3. Australian driver's licence.
4. Must be an Australian Citizen or have the right to work in Australia.
5. For the role that will cover Defence sector projects, applicants must be Australian citizens and be eligible to obtain and maintain an NV1 clearance.
