About this Role
You will be responsible for managing CYF services, ensuring they meet client needs and operate in line with our values and legislative requirements.
Your leadership will drive service quality and the development of a high-performing team, all while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader who is committed to fostering safe and culturally sensitive care based in Townsville with occasional travel to Mackay.
You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, manage budgets, and contribute to our mission of providing holistic support to vulnerable families and children.
What You Can Bring to the Team
Service Operations Management: Lead the day-to-day operations of CYF services, ensuring services meet both client needs and organizational requirements.
Address client grievances and identify key support opportunities.
Business Development: Prepare business cases, funding applications, proposals, and change management plans.
Actively participate in benchmarking activities and work toward achieving service targets.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain effective relationships with funding bodies, key stakeholders, and partners.
Play an active role in the negotiation of contracts and funding agreements.
Financial Management: Prepare and monitor service budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
Provide regular, accurate financial reporting within organizational timelines.
Cultural Inclusivity: Foster a culturally safe and inclusive environment, working closely with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, children, and families to break the intergenerational cycle of over-representation in care.
Team Leadership: Lead a diverse and motivated team, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategies and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Compliance & Safety: Promote and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
Adhere to relevant legislative and regulatory requirements in all aspects of service delivery.
