Key Responsibilities: Serve as the first point of contact for insurance claims, including Death, TPD, Trauma Insurance, Income Protection, and Personal Injury claims.Handle inbound and outbound calls with empathy, managing potentially sensitive and complex conversations.Process, lodge, and triage claims, ensuring timely follow-up and completion.Actively manage and track claims within service level agreements (SLAs), escalating when necessary.Provide accurate information without offering financial advice.Participate in team training to enhance knowledge and skills.Maintain customer records, respond to inquiries, and manage dissatisfaction feedback. What We're Looking For: Experience: Previous roles as a Claims Administrator or within superannuation.Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, detail-oriented, proficient in Word, Outlook, and Excel.Certifications: RG 146 compliance (or willingness to undertake study).Attributes: Empathetic, proactive, and a team player with the ability to manage tasks independently.
