Our frontline team provides direct support in both SIL, in home and community access settings to our participants ensuring high degree of quality and individualised support is provided to them. The role: We are currently seeking Support Workers in the Buderim area to provide individualised support to SEQUAL participants to live their best life and achieve their goals. In this role you will support our participants in different settings such as in home, community and supported independent living (SIL). In this role you will provide support either independently or as part of a team in: Assist clients to prepare for their day, enabling them to partake in community based activities on a daily basis Follow participants personal plans using a person centred approach. Personal care assistance duties including but not limited to positioning and transferring, operating a hoist, showering and toileting, dressing, feeding. Support clients with Cerebral Palsy and those that require peg feeding (training provided). Full range of domestic assistance duties including but not limited to food preparation, cooking, cleaning, and general household chores. Community access, transportation, attending appointments and day to day errands. Role requirements: ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT - available to work Monday to Friday 4-5hour morning shifts between 0500-1000 Future opportunity to work Monday to Friday 1400-2100 sleepover shifts, as well as weekend shifts covering 0600-1400 and 1400-2200 and sleepovers. Passion and experience to provide personalised and inclusive support and empower individuals with complex disabilities. Current paid NDIS Worker Screening card & Working With Children Card. Current First Aid and CPR certificates. Current driver licence, suitable car and comprehensive car insurance as employees may be required to transport clients in their own car.
