The Media and Marketing Officer works in partnership with the Principal and the Executive team to promote the school within the local community. This role includes the production of a range of school publications such as business plans, annual reports, newsletters, yearbooks, and advertisements, as well as curating the online presence of the school via our website, social media, and other communication platforms. The Marketing and Media Officer is responsible for managing the media and marketing budget and creating promotional materials for events, including assisting in the organisation and coordination of large-scale events such as the Leavers Ceremony.
The successful applicant will establish and maintain effective relationships with a range of stakeholders across media, local government, businesses, and other agencies. They will be responsible for the development and implementation of marketing strategies and actively seek out new opportunities to further increase partnerships and engagement with the community.

You should be confident in taking photographs, producing video content, and managing a large image library. Experience in graphic design and the use of Adobe software including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop will be highly regarded. Qualifications in marketing and/or communications or similar will be looked upon favourably.
Minimum Requirements:
* Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
* Obtain a valid Working With Children Check before starting; and
* Consent to a National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit.

* Demonstrated sound research, conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to think clearly and solve problems autonomously.
