Look no further! We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Onsite Hotel General Manager for the Boab Inn to become the driving force behind the success of the Hotel. About Us: Nestled in the breathtaking Kimberley region, our hotel is a haven offering accommodation, a vibrant bar, restaurant, thrilling moments at the TAB, a refreshing swimming pool, BBQ areas. Key Responsibilities: Assume full ownership of the iconic Hotel. Lead and manage all facets, including bar, restaurant, TAB, and accommodation. Conduct efficient staff meetings and set a stellar example. Actively participate in daily operations, utilizing venue reporting and systems. Innovate revenue-building ideas across all aspects of the business. Demonstrate financial acumen in areas such as wage costing and P&Ls. Maintain a visible presence during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends. Develop and manage effective rosters. Conduct stocktakes and investigate stock loss. Order and maintain par levels for beverages, food, and consumables. Train, motivate, and manage staff performance. Recruit and induct new team members. Collaborate with the Head Office team and communicate effectively with all departments. Implement and execute successful promotions throughout the business. Hold WA Approved Managers certification. Experience with BePoz and RMS is advantageous. Qualifications and Experience: 3+ years in a Venue Manager role. Previous General Manager experience in a similar hotel environment. Current RSA and Approved Manager WA Licence. Competent in profit and loss analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Strong communication skills for direct communication with the Director and weekly reporting. Passionate about fostering a strong team culture with ongoing development.
