Within a small team, you will be responsible for the timely production of the month end, quarterly and full year financial reporting and reconciliations. Working directly with the Head of Finance and liaising with Department managers, this role will also draw on your analytical thinking in the development of relevant reporting on key metrics to assist us drive the business. This role will also provide guidance and support to our Finance Officer.KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Responsible for ensuring the financial maintenance and review of group entities including accounts payable/receivable, full balance sheet/ account reconciliation process, journal entries, tax effect accounting and integrity reviews. Prepare taxation, FBT and GST returns as required.Responsible for the preparation of budgets and forecasting, cashflow management, capex and key expenditure.Variance analysis and identification of key business trends.Provide commercial support by producing quality data and analysis of projects and new business growth opportunities identified by Management.Provide support and guidance to Finance Officer.QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Completion of a professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA or equivalent).Preferably 3 to 5 years professional experience in a commercial accounting environment.Experience in budgeting, external reporting and internal management reporting.Demonstrated knowledge of the preparation of financial statements.Demonstrated knowledge of budgeting and forecasting principles and processes.Demonstrated Excel modelling skills (Intermediate to Advanced).Seniority levelNot ApplicableEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionAccounting/Auditing, Finance, and Administrative#J-18808-Ljbffr
