About the role:
Our Home Service Carers provide compassionate and exceptional care, ensuring our ageing communities' comfort and independence in the familiar surroundings of their own homes through tasks such as domestic cleaning, personal care, cooking, transport social outings, shopping, home maintenance, and gardening.
If you are passionate about what you do and want to support our customers to have great lives, then this is the job for you. We currently have a high number of requests for female home carers to provide personal care for our female customers to ensure their dignity and privacy.

To be successful will need:
* A Certificate III in Aged Care/Individual Support or similar (desirable)
* Experience in aged or community care work
* The ability to provide a wide range of person-centred care duties
* An empathy and commitment to the care of older people
* Good interpersonal and written communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised
* Current First Aid certificate or enrolled to obtain
* Current Drivers Licence, a reliable car with comprehensive car insurance
* Certificate IV in ageing Support or equivalent with medication competency
Onboarding:
If your application is successful, you will be required to commence employment to our three-day On-boarding Program. Our training is hosted by our internal clinical educators and will cover all things Warrigal. The essential skills that we cover will set you up for success that ensures our customers have the highest quality care.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment checks including reference checks, pre-employment medical, a National Criminal History Check/NDIS Worker Screening Check & Qualification Check.
