In this role, you will provide administrative support to the Rating/Property team in maintaining Council's rates, property, and water databases.
This position is crucial in ensuring compliance with legislative requirements while delivering high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in maintaining Council's corporate database system accurately and efficiently.Support a team-oriented culture within the Rates/Property Team, ensuring high performance and quality customer service.Ensure compliance with legislative and statutory requirements.Provide effective and courteous administrative support, including rate, property, water, and debt-related enquiries.Process, maintain, and validate eRates and BPay View functions, including unsuccessful email and notification follow-ups.Assist with maintenance and verification of pensioner, property, rates, and water modules where required.Process changes of address information accurately and in a timely manner.Manage returned mail for the Revenue Section and liaise with internal sections as needed.Assist with preparing monthly statistical reports and general correspondence.Provide other administrative support to the Department as required.About YouDemonstrated experience in providing administrative support in a busy professional environment with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.Proven ability to provide confidential, client-focused administrative support while managing strict deadlines and competing priorities.Ability to work independently within a professional team environment, demonstrating tact and discretion when handling sensitive matters.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong customer-focused approach when dealing with internal and external stakeholders.Strong ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and use industry-standard software packages effectively.Knowledge and experience in Council's rating activities would be highly regarded.Certificate or diploma-level qualifications relevant to the role would be advantageous.How to ApplyTo apply, submit your application online by clicking the "Apply" button.
