This position involves collaborating with faculty and staff to develop innovative digital content and teaching strategies that enhance the learning experience.
The officer is tasked with ensuring that digital learning tools are user-friendly and effectively support the diverse needs of students.
By fostering a dynamic digital learning environment, the Digital Learning Officer contributes to promoting student engagement, academic progress, and overall achievement within the school.
Your responsibilities will include: Collaborate with academic staff to develop high-quality digital materials for unit content, focusing on structure, format, design, and instructional elements for learning materials.
Ensure the integration and implementation of Curtin's Learning and Teaching priorities within the School's digital learning programs.
Implement processes for course quality and continuous improvement in digital learning.
Monitor assessment standards to ensure compliance with relevant policies and alignment with unit and course learning outcomes.
Manage and liaise with external content providers.
Share expertise and promote best practice approaches for digital learning development and delivery.
Stay informed about current, new, and evolving strategies and processes in digital learning through research, training, industry connections, and professional memberships.
Role Requirements: As this is a fixed-term contract, you will require current work rights in Australia that match the tenure of this role A relevant tertiary qualification with considerable relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
