What are you going to doThe successful candidate will be responsible for gathering and reviewing data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions, required completion date, and construction feasibility.Coordinates with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings.
Supports the preparation of bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities and equipment acquisition.Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs.
Commissions and qualifies or directs the commissioning and qualification of construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules.Responsible for planning and managing smaller capital projects related to construction activitiesProvide technical engineering support for PLCs, Laboratory, Corporate Office and Plasma Collection CentersPoint of contact for internal subject matter experts and external Design & Construct organizationsCoordinates/oversees all aspects of the project lifecycle, including preliminary project plan development, scheduling and tasking internal resources, issues management, budgeting/forecastingEssential skills and knowledgeRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction preferredTechnical experience in pharmaceutical or regulated industry may be considered in lieu of an Engineering degreeExperience in engineering or construction project managementExperience managing multiple projects in remote locationsExperience in a regulated environmentAnalysis and Project definition experienceStrong communication skills with customers, design teams, contractors, and managementGood problem solving, technical learning, time management and prioritizing skillsFunctional knowledge of cGMPs and manufacturing operations in FDA regulated facilityBenefits:12 month fixed term contractSalary sacrificingEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Corporate discounts
