About The Role
The Account Manager - Outbound Sales in Bunbury plays a key role in managing, retaining, and growing our portfolio of small business customers.
Your role will effectively manage, retain and grow CSBP Fertilisers portfolio of small business customers as well source new business opportunities. In doing so, some of the essential aspects of your role will be to drive profitable growth, retain/gain market share and financial objectives, and enhance the company’s reputation. In addition to this, whilst being predominantly office based, you will also support some Customer Service Officer activities.
Working closely with Account Managers, carriers, regional agronomists, depot managers and other contacts to optimise the value of our CSBP products. As a trusted advisor, you will provide reliable and accurate advice on CSBP’s fertiliser products and services to help customers improve their businesses through best fit application of the products and services we offer.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow a portfolio of small-scale fertiliser customers.
* Drive outbound sales campaigns, including cold calling and lead generation.
* Provide technical advice on CSBP fertiliser products and services.
* Support Area Managers with digital tools like Decipher and NUlogic.
* Maintain strong relationships with customers, sales agents, and industry stakeholders.
* Assist with seasonal sales offers and other marketing initiatives.
* Maintain accurate customer records and provide key sales forecasts.
* Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies.
* Assist with appointment booking and scheduling.
* Assist with contract entry and offer processing.
About You
To excel in the Outbound Account Manager role with CSBP, you must possess the following key attributes:
* Experience in sales, account management, or customer service (agriculture industry experience desirable).
* Strong relationship management and communication skills.
* Ability to identify new sales opportunities and drive business growth.
* Technical knowledge of fertiliser products or a background in agriculture is a plus.
* Proficiency in CRM systems and digital sales tools (or willingness to learn).
* Self-motivated, results-driven, and passionate about supporting farmers and rural businesses.
