About the role Based in Melbourne you will use specialist software to model and assess wind resources on proposed wind farm sites across Australia. You will also model noise emissions ensuring that the wind and site analysis is performed correctly for development projects and sales activities. You will liaise with internal and external stake holders, contributing to a key aspect of the project development life cycle. Duties Conduct wind and site analysis using Windpro and GIS Mapping Software Peer review of wind and site analysis conducted by China based wind and site engineers Optimise the layout of the projects using wind, site and constructability inputs Interface with external consultants and due diligence providers Provide information to project owners to assist with obtaining permits for wind projects from government agencies Gather data from operating wind farms and produce reports to demonstrate technical performance for turbine wind, grid, temperature and other performance Skills and Experience Tertiary qualifications in an Engineering discipline (electrical power, mechanical or renewable engineering) Experience in wind and site engineering Experience using Windpro or GIS Mapping software Ability to understand and manage complex technical issues Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills Benefits Above market package on offer Melbourne Based role Huge pipeline of projects How to apply Please click on the apply now button and submit a full professional resume highlighting your experience or send your resume to geoffrey.fabregatacrworld.com
