About the opportunity We are seeking a Maintenance Manager to join our PGH Bricks Plant in Cecil Park on a full-time, permanent basis.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, this hands-on leadership role is responsible for planning, scheduling, and overseeing all maintenance activities while fostering cross-functional teamwork.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the Maintenance team to ensure optimal site operation, maximizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Manage maintenance activities within allocated budgets and cost controls.
Oversee service contractors, ensuring full compliance with Workplace Safety, Health, and Environment (WSHE) requirements .
Plan and schedule maintenance activities and plant shutdowns to meet KPI targets .
This role is ideal for a collaborative leader with a strong background in maintenance management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
What you bring to the role: Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or relevant trade qualifications .
Proven experience in Maintenance or Engineering Management within a manufacturing operations environment.
Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing a high-performing Maintenance team and fostering a positive culture.
Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), with SAP experience preferred.
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and in-depth knowledge of a wide range of equipment .
A safety-first mindset, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
