About the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join their Capital Projects & Engineering team. This key role will support multiple project packages in a mix of pre- and post-award contract management. The successful candidate will work on a variety of mining and construction projects in the heavy industry sector.
This is a 6–12 month contract with the potential for extension. The position is ideal for someone with 3–10 years of experience in contract administration within the mining or construction industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Award:
* Manage bids and tenders, engaging new suppliers, and establishing contracts
* Ensure procurement aligns with project timelines, goals, and budgets
Post-Award:
* Manage contracts through execution, including close engagement with stakeholders
* Handle contract variations, disputes, and cost-saving initiatives
* Work closely with project teams to support business objectives and project deliverables
Skills and Experience:
* Minimum 3–10 years’ experience in contract administration, preferably within mining or construction
* Strong understanding of contract management processes, including procurement and post-award activities
* Ability to engage with suppliers, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive cost-effective solutions
* Experience with contract variations and dispute resolution
* Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
