Approximately 70% of your time will be dedicated to application support and 30% to infrastructure support.Key Responsibilities: This role is the Analyst for the applications,This is NOT a helpdesk support level 1 roleKey words: Oracle ERP In-house Support, Oracle ERP Analyst, Oracle ERP consultant, Oracle ERP DeveloperApplications Support (70%): Work with applications like Oracle Ebiz (supply chain & manufacturing), Oracle Fusion (planning and finance), etc. Define and document business success metrics for small to medium-sized initiatives. Elicit, analyze, and document both functional and non-functional business requirements. Participate in business requirement management, solution design, and solution validation. Collaborate with vendor support teams to resolve production issues. Assist with test planning and testing methodology to ensure solutions meet all requirements. Escalate any issues for further analysis and resolution as necessary. Maintain positive relationships across technical and business teams. Infrastructure Support (30%): Provide support for IT infrastructure, focusing on areas like Windows/Linux servers, networking (LAN/WAN/Security), and VMware. Manage IT operations in a global 24x7 environment with a focus on remote management. Engage in IT contract negotiations and vendor management. Assist with IT manufacturing infrastructure, as well as incident, change, and problem management using ITIL processes. Key Qualifications & Experience Familiarity with Oracle Application R12 (distribution and manufacturing modules). Knowledge of Oracle Fusion (planning and finance) is a plus. Competency in Oracle SQL queries. Customer-focused with excellent communication skills. Proactive mindset, open to learning, and adaptive to change. Experience working with core infrastructure and networking technologies. Familiar with IT contract negotiation and vendor management. Qualifications & Competencies Business Need Definition: Define business outcomes using the Business Analysis Toolkit, aligning solutions with business goals. Business Analysis Planning: Plan and document business analysis activities, ensuring resources are allocated effectively. Requirements Elicitation: Gather both functional and non-functional requirements to shape the business solution. Requirements Analysis: Analyze and prioritize requirements to determine feasibility. Solution Assessment & Validation: Ensure the solution meets business needs through testing and validation. Solution Modeling & Design: Create models, diagrams, and documentation to support business, technical, and security requirements. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks using the appropriate tools. Education, Certifications, & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field. 1-3 years of relevant experience in IT or business analysis roles.
