As part of the Finance team, you will support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to managers and executives. This role also focuses on enhancing financial systems, streamlining processes, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that align with TAFE SA's strategic goals.If you're passionate about delivering insights and fostering efficiency, this is the opportunity for you.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and coordinate regular and ad hoc financial reports.Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance monitoring and commentary.Analyse financial data to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.Maintain and enhance the TAFE SA budgeting and forecasting system to optimise functionality.Develop and standardise reporting practices to drive efficiency and automation.Lead financial projects and investigations to achieve organisational goals.Provide mentorship and training to staff to build capability and meet quality standards.Uphold TAFE SA values and comply with legislative and organisational policies, including workplace health and safety.The Successful Candidate must have:Demonstrated experience in compiling financial management reports from multiple sources.Strong skills in budget variance analysis and implementing financial process improvements.Proven ability to build effective relationships and provide advice to diverse stakeholders.Exceptional time management skills to deliver results under competing deadlines.Advanced verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, and a customer-focused approach.Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and community.Desirable Attributes:Experience in management accounting within a corporate or public sector environment.Strong commercial financial acumen and ability to manage large datasets effectively.Familiarity with government policies and processes.Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.Special ConditionsThe successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed.
