About us Holiday Inn Werribee is situated in the heart of the Werribee city centre, being the talk of the town for Werribee and surrounds. The hotel occupies the top four floors of the mixed use 12 storey premises and boasts sweeping views right across to the You Yangs and Wyndham Harbour. Your day to day - Follow Banquet Event Order form to understand the client's function requests and setup according to their contract agreement with the Conference & Events team. - Working closely with the Kitchen and Food & Beverage team members to provide seamless service. - Personally welcome, recognise and farewell the client and guests with genuine warmth and thoughtful hospitality. - Going above and beyond for the client and guests, understanding their needs and always making their experience memorable. - Function rooms and back of house prep area to be maintained clean and tidy at all times. - Supporting the Food & Beverage team by performing shifts and duties within the Rosana Restaurant & Bar and Room Service whilst providing True Hospitality service guest experience for all of Holiday Inn Werribee. - Respond appropriately to guest complaints and concerns, solicit feedback and build relationships that drive continuous improvements in guest satisfaction. - Manage stock responsibly ensuring appropriate control and ordering to balance budget, demand and par levels. - Rostering colleagues in accordance to the outlets business forecasts and requirements. - Coaching, mentoring and training colleagues whilst leading and coordinating the operational outlets. What we need from you - Have the ability to take ownership of leading the team, ensuring guest satisfaction and seamless execution of event as per guest's requirements. - Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment is highly desirable. - A true passion for food & beverage, the hospitality industry and exceeding guest expectations. - A team player with a positive, can do attitude and strong drive for results whilst working closing with the Food & Beverage team members. - Highly developed interpersonal and excellent communication skills. - Ability to work across a range of outlet areas during each shift. - Well organised, planning in advance, ability to work within operational situation changes. - Holds a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate. - Commitment with flexibility to work a rotational roster that includes early mornings starting at 6.30am, afternoons, late evenings until 1 or 2am, weekends and public holidays are all part of the job. - Current valid working rights in Australia.
