Job Description Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, an established Engineering Workshop in their search for a Metrology Engineer based near Deeside.For the successful Metrology Engineer, our client is offering:Monday to Friday Days (8-Hour Shifts)PermanentOvertime AvailableThe role - Metrology Engineer: Develop and implement metrology processes and procedures to ensure accurate measurement and calibration of equipmentPerform measurement system analysis (MSA) studies to assess the capability and reliability of measurement systemsConduct inspections and measurements using Leica laser trackers (400 and 900 series) with various attachments including scanners, t-probes and b-probes.Analyze measurement data and generate reports, using Spatial Analyzer, to communicate results and identify areas for improvementCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve metrology-related issues and implement corrective actionsMaintain calibration records and ensure compliance with quality standards and regulationsStay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in metrologyExpected to work away at times in the UK and internationally; work vehicle would be provided and all hotels and expenses covered.What our client is looking for in a Metrology Engineer: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related fieldStrong knowledge of metrology principles, techniques, and equipmentProficiency in using metrology software and tools; must be well-experienced in using Spatial AnalyzerExperience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and blueprint readingFamiliarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systemsExcellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data setsStrong attention to detail and accuracy in measurementsEffective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teamsKey skills or similar Job titles: Laser Tracker Operator, Metrology Technician, Control Engineer, Quality EngineerCommutable From: Deeside, Flint, Chester, Wrexham, Wirral #J-18808-Ljbffr
