At Open Minds, we’re expanding our team to meet the growing demand from our client portfolio, and we’d love for you to join us on this journey of meaningful impact About the role We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Support Workers in Rosslea, Townsville to provide personalised support to clients in their Supported Independent Living (SIL) home and in the community. With a variety of flexible shifts available — early mornings, day, afternoons, evenings, and sleepovers — this role is ideal for someone who values meaningful work and flexibility. Other responsibilities may include: Building meaningful relationships through social support. Promoting positivity in day-to-day activities. Supporting clients with daily living activities like bathing, grooming, and dressing. Assisting with mobility and physical support needs, including transfers and positioning. Providing companionship and emotional support. Managing household tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and laundry. Maintaining accurate progress notes and incident reports.
