Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Allied Health Clinician to join our multidisciplinary team in the Head to Health Phone Service. The successful applicant will provide person-centered, recovery-oriented, and trauma-informed care to clients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake mental health assessments over the phone using the Initial Assessment and Referral Decision Support Tool (IAR-DST) and refer individuals to appropriate services.
* Provide advice and information to callers about mental health and alcohol and other drugs (AOD) services and supports.
* Offer leadership, secondary consultation, case review, and assistance to other clinical and non-clinical team members.
About the Role
* This is a fixed-term full-time and part-time position working 76 hours per fortnight.
* The role requires a minimum of two years postgraduate employment in a clinical area directly applicable to mental health services.
* Ability to build rapport with clients and manage sensitive situations in an empathetic manner is essential.
