Job Description:
As a leading supplier of equipment, Access Indigenous is expanding into QLD and seeking an experienced Sales Manager/BDM to support new business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* IDentify new business opportunities and potential revenue streams
* Establish yourself as an industry client solution partner
* Manage operational aspects to ensure profitability, achieving revenue, cost, and profit targets
* Maximise equipment utilisation in line with business expectations
* Monitor costs related to transport and service expenses
* Drive accountability within the business, ensuring core values are embedded at all levels
* Improve sales productivity and culture
* Audit safety by consulting with the workforce, promoting safe work practices, and identifying hazards
* Develop effective relationships with regulatory authorities, external stakeholders, and suppliers
* Align employees with strategic objectives and personal development plans
Requirements:
* Strong character and work ethic
* Minimum 5 years of experience at a senior level in construction or industrial sector
* Experience with sales, service, and hire of access equipment/machinery (highly regarded)
* Identify as Indigenous
* Demonstrated operational and people leadership experience
* Experience in developing and building strategic relationships
* Financial capabilities, including literacy in spreadsheets and financial management
* Ability to work effectively in a busy team environment
* Excellent collaboration and communication skills
