About the role
As a Digital Category Manager at Coles Group, you will play a key role in driving online sales and profit growth within the Dairy and Freeze categories—two of the largest and fastest-growing areas of our online business. You will be responsible for optimising range selection, developing targeted promotions, and fostering strong supplier relationships to enhance the online shopping experience.
Working closely with the team, you'll create and execute a comprehensive digital merchandise strategy, aligning with the business's broader objectives. This role also plays a vital part in the success of Coles' newly built Customer Fulfilment Centres, ensuring that customers have access to a unique and exclusive product range through our online platform.
You will be:
* Accountable for E2E profitability for the Central Fulfillment Centre (CFC)
* Play an active role in BU category planning sessions to align category plans to Digital plans to achieve profit targets
* Executes strategic vision of portfolio through customer missions & destination areas
* Range selection for CFC range to enable profitability within category
Within the role you will:
* Build supplier relationships based on open, transparent and fair dealings
* Drive sales and profit performance in line with Business Budget / Forecasts
* Work collaboratively with suppliers to manage the launch of new products, speed to market, provision of market leading value and launch of strategic initiatives
* Ensure personal and direct report compliance with all applicable external laws, regulations, mandatory standards and codes
* Ensure personal and direct report compliance with Coles internal compliance policies including Coles Supplier Charter and Coles Code of Conduct
* Work with stakeholders to meet the category plan objectives
* Work with cross functional Digital teams to enhance customer proposition
