About the RoleWe are looking for an ambitious and energetic Project Logistics Business Development Manager to drive client expansion and sustainable growth within our Projects sector. As the face of our clients Projects, you'll lead strategic sales initiatives and foster relationships with key clients, contractors, and suppliers. This role is open to candidates throughout Australia!
Key Responsibilities Design and implement strategies focused on financial growth and client satisfactionIdentify new market opportunities and client needs in the Projects sectorCultivate strong relationships with new and existing customersPromote our client's project logistics services, meeting clients' objectivesPrepare and manage sales contracts in line with legal and regulatory standardsConduct contract negotiations and manage tender processesCollaborate with the freight forwarding team, providing project-specific expertiseMaintain accurate records of sales and client data in our CRM system (monday.com)Attend sales meetings, delivering regular updates to managementStay informed on industry trends and competitor activitiesYour Expertise Proven experience in business development, project logistics, or sales managementA successful track record in achieving sales targets and pipeline growthStrong knowledge of global air and ocean freight markets, including carrier expertiseExcellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsBackground in heavy haulage, out-of-gauge transport, and terminal operationsFamiliarity with customs and quarantine regulations (DAFF)Experience with CRM tools to manage leads and client dataStrategic mindset with the ability to analyse market trends and create innovative client solutionsIf you are interested apply now or send a CV to
