Your function
As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the monthly payroll function across multiple countries in DLL – Australia (primary), New Zealand, Singapore, and South Korea. This role involves managing outsourced payroll processing (performed by ADP) and ensuring compliance and reporting are completed accurately.
Day to day
* Liaise with ADP: Ensure timely and accurate payment to employees, providing relevant feedback, requests, or information.
* Employee Queries: Serve as the first point of contact for all payroll-related queries, acting as a conduit between employees and ADP.
* Data Maintenance: Maintain master data, pay records, and files.
* Payment Control: Manage the payment and reconciliation of payroll tax, group tax, Kiwisaver, and superannuation payments.
* Information Provision: Provide payroll information for budgets and finance reporting.
Your Profile
* Minimum 5 years' experience in Australian payroll; experience in New Zealand, Singapore, and/or South Korea is desirable.
* Outsourced Payroll: Experience in an outsourced payroll environment is essential – strong preference for ADP.
* Legislation Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of employment legislation, superannuation, and statutory requirements.
* Technical Skills: Intermediate MS Office skills, with intermediate Excel proficiency.
* Relationship Building: Proven ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
