The Role This exciting role offers a unique blend of office-based work in the Griffith region and on-the-ground experience in the heart of NSW's agricultural landscape. As a passionate advocate for Australian agriculture, you'll thrive in this position. The primary objective of this position is to build and maintain grower partnerships to ensure a consistent supply of cotton lint and cottonseed in the Murrumbidgee area. Building strong stakeholder relationships is key to your success. You'll partner with cotton growers, industry experts, and community members across the Griffith region where your days will involve strategic planning and engaging field visits to understand growers' needs and market dynamics. You'll travel to farms to discuss crop performance, yields, and marketing strategies and represent Olam Agri at industry events and community gatherings. The Person A deep-rooted love for Australian agriculture and a strong desire to contribute to its success Proven ability to foster and maintain long-term partnerships with growers in a commercial environment Eagerness to learn and develop professionally, coupled with a proactive approach to challenges Demonstrated ability to achieve goals independently and take ownership of tasks Exceptional communication and stakeholder relationship skills Strong administration and time management skills, as well as attention to detail A solid understanding of business development principles or a keen interest in acquiring this knowledge Agribusiness qualifications or relevant industry experience This is an exciting opportunity to join a passionate and driven team dealing and working with key stakeholders in the cotton sector.
