We’re seeking skilled Pipe Tube Fitters to contribute to critical projects, performing installation, repairs and piping systems. This local, permanent full-time position offers stability, career progression, and the opportunity to earn excellent pay with 10–12-hour shifts. Relocation assistance may be provided for the ideal applicant. As a Pipe Tube Fitter, you will play a vital role in the restoration and upgrade on key maritime projects, focusing on piping and tubing systems critical to vessel operations. Your responsibilities will include: Installation and Repairs : Fit and install pipes and tubes for hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, and water systems. Inspect, diagnose, and repair damaged or outdated piping systems. Perform cutting, threading, bending, and welding of pipes to match specifications. Upgrades and Maintenance : Upgrade existing piping systems to align with modern standards and operational requirements. Assist in removing, refurbishing, and replacing obsolete or corroded components. Ensure all systems meet safety, performance, and compliance standards. Technical Collaboration : Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Work with engineers and other trades to resolve complex technical challenges. Conduct pressure testing and system checks to identify and rectify issues. General Duties : Organise and manage tools, equipment, and materials for project efficiency. Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant workspace aboard vessels. What We’re Looking For: If you have a strong background in pipe and tube fitting, with experience in construction, manufacturing, or mining, and a willingness to learn, you could be the perfect addition to our team. Essential Requirements: Demonstrated experience fitting and repairing pipes and tubes. Proficiency with power tools and equipment used in pipe fitting (e.g., pipe benders, threaders, and welding tools). Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and schematics. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork. Construction White Card. National Police Clearance. Australian working rights and own transport.
