Our clients include the major players in land development, infrastructure, building/construction and mining, as well as numerous smaller and valued clients.This full-time position is based in our Bunbury office. Bunbury is a long-established regional city, only two hours’ drive from the Perth metropolitan area and close to the idyllic Ferguson Valley and Margaret River Wine regions. Our existing staff enjoy the coastal lifestyle along with the benefits of having a wide range of shopping, sporting, health and educational facilities available locally.ABOUT THE ROLEDue to the continued growth within our company, we are currently seeking a third full-time person to join our existing drafting team to assist in producing high quality, professional drawings and data for town planning and survey work.As our company has a diverse range of disciplines, you will be involved in an exciting range of work servicing all offices, which includes but is not limited to:Town Planning drawings including structure plans and related drawings for Development applications and rezoning/scheme amendmentsSubdivision drawings, including pre-calculation plans, road drainage, sewer and water servicesBuilding and development presentation plans including import and export of digital dataGIS mappingFeature and Contour engineering survey plansProcessing and modelling from 3D point clouds and surface models captured from state-of-the-art Laser Scanners, Mobile Mapping Gear and Lidar SensorsLegal Deposited Plans and Strata Plans from cadastral surveys for lodgement at LandgateABOUT YOUAs the ideal candidate you will:Have previous drafting experience of known CAD packages, preferably with Bentley MicroStation or AutoCADHave experience in GIS packages (this is beneficial but not required)Have high attention to detailHave artistic design/creativityHave excellent people skills, customer service ability, and time management capabilityBe willing to learn and develop your skillsNote: Recent graduates who have studied drafting (or are studying) are also encouraged to apply.HOURS OF WORKIt is a residential full-time role (Monday to Friday) at our Bunbury office located at 21 Spencer Street, Bunbury, however, part-time applicants may also be considered.HOW TO APPLYTo apply for this position please submit a cover letter and CV via Seek.Applications Close: 5.00 pm Friday 28 March 2025 – We reserve the right to close applications earlier if a suitable applicant is found.Enquiries can be directed to Ben in the Bunbury office on (08) 9792 6000.
