In this role you will support the organisation through the provision of timely and relevant advice and education relating to environmental risk management and compliance requirements. You will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of Gold Corporation’s sustainability and environment analytics, internal control frameworks and reporting systems, and processes in line with industry standards to ensure sustainability and environment information is accurate, complete and readily available. Here you will also work collaboratively with the IT and Finance team to develop agile dashboards to enable decision making. You will assist to engage the business, develop a sustainability and environment mindset and enable the successfully delivery of sustainability and environment initiatives. Your role as an Advisor Sustainability and Environment Reporting will involve: Provide timely and accurate advice, assistance, guidance and education relating to environmental risk management and compliance requirements Support the identification of environmental risks and ensuring environmental compliance is achieved and maintained Drive the development and implementation of platforms, solutions, systems and processes enabling insights and the delivery of our Sustainability and Environment reporting Facilitate the collation of sustainability performance data across the business in alignment with internal and external sustainability reporting frameworks, principles, legislation, and schemes including GHG emissions data (Scope 1, 2 and 3) and NPI reporting Experience: Tertiary qualification in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Management, Sustainability, Engineering, Data Science, or relevant discipline Experience managing environmental management systems – ISO 14001 5+ years’ experience in environment and/or sustainability roles, ideally in a similar industry Significant experience in compliance, report writing, auditing, assessing environmental risks and analysing data Demonstrated experience with sustainability reporting standards, certification and business systems and tools Strong attention to detail Skilled in stakeholder engagement, relationship building and influencing capability It’s easy to dismiss the perfect opportunity if you don’t see yourself as the perfect fit.
