About the role: The Project Officer will be a part of the larger team within the Aboriginal Education Directorate.
The Project Officer provides leadership and expertise in the vision and principles essential for Aboriginal children and young people to achieve growth and success.
The Aboriginal Funding Model Project Officer will be responsible for monitoring the ongoing development, procedures, implementation, and review of the new model.
The Project Officer works with the Lead, Aboriginal Funding Model in the development of an evaluation model to inform the next 3-year funding model (2027-2029).
Qualifications: Essential: Minimum departmental employment requirements for teachers include recognised teaching qualifications and registration as a teacher in South Australia.
Desirable: Experience in Education Program Development.
Special conditions: The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.
The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration: STL3: $143,545 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (11.5%)
