Who you are:
In terms of qualifications and experience, you must be a fully qualified accountant - CA / CPA (this is non-negotiable), you will have good commercial experience, and we're keen to hear from you if you've already made the move from Big 4 or strong mid-tier into industry and you're now looking for an FC position. In addition, you will be capable of managing a small team, have good technical ability, be strong with Excel, and have worked with different systems. You'll be highly capable of collating data and then presenting it so knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
In respect to your soft skills, this role will engage with colleagues in Commercial and Operations, so you need to have the ability to be a business partner. You'll be a strong communicator you can speak to all levels of a business, and you'll possess an analytical mindset - be inquisitive, ask intelligent questions, and not take the numbers at face value.

What you will do:
You will take direct responsibility of the day-to-day finance activities of the Finance function, deliver on all deadlines, compliance, provide detailed analysis on financial results, partner with the wider organisation to communicate all financial and commercial information relating to your business, take oversight of budgets, forecasting, capital expenditure, cash flow management, audit liaison, financial models, and preparation and presentation of strategic plans.
You will also manage a small team which take care of all transactional requirements, and in time, be responsible for growing the finance team to help the business deliver on their ambitions.
