You could be one of our 3100 committed team members who are up to the challenge.About The RoleAs the Electrical Maintenance Technician, you are integral to the success of V/Line’s Technical Operations Group.You will be required to execute electrical and technical system maintenance, support current systems, maintain installed equipment configuration, ensure quality of work, undertake electrical isolations, and manage contracted work.Key accountabilities include: Perform maintenance and installation of work on Electrical and High Voltage equipment either individually or in a team environment under limited direction of supervisors. Perform allocated routine maintenance tasks in accord with the technical maintenance plan and servicing schedules and enter task completion reports to the maintenance management system. Investigate and prepare a report on any incident associated with the performance of Electrical and High Voltage equipment and systems. Exercise individual judgement in deciding how specific tasks is performed and resolve problems considering regulations, departmental policy and practices encountered in day-to-day duties. Maintain Genset equipment in accordance with Technical Maintenance Plans About YouYou are qualified and experienced electrician with a strong commitment to safety, reliability and integrity. With a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills, you take pride in maintaining and repairing electrical systems to keep operations running smoothly.In addition to this, our ideal candidate will possess the following: Must hold a current Victorian A-Grade electrical License.
