If you've had previous experience in camp maintenance, we'd love to hear from you!The Opportunity You will provide support to our operations and maintenance teams and will be responsible for the following:Carry out all maintenance and repairs of plumbing equipment on NMC camp facilitiesQuickly respond to plumbing issues including; leaking pipes, blocked drains, faulty water systems and other plumbing-related emergenciesUndertake the test, installation and commissioning of Plumbing plant and equipment at our Laydown Yard or at remote sitesPerform regular checks and repairs on sewage and waste disposal systems, including septic tanks and drainage systems to prevent backups or malfunctionsCarry out all routine inspections and preventative maintenanceProvide over the phone or in person support to camp management, maintenance staff and contractorsManage any Plumbing & Drainage applications with various CouncilsTravel to operational sites to assist with camp mobilisations, demobilisations and camp movesAd hoc handyperson duties such as changing tyres, painting, completing wash down of equipmentComplete all paperwork including checklists and HAZOB'sSkills and Experience The ideal candidate will have:Good knowledge of plumbing systems, tools and maintenance proceduresProven experience in the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems, preferably in a mobile or remote camp settingAbility to troubleshoot and perform repairs on various plumbing systems, including water lines, waste systems and water equipmentMinimum of five years' experience in a similar roleProven ability to work effectively within a teamHigh level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure work meets industry standards and specificationsAbility to troubleshoot on site issues and adapt to changing work conditionsCurrent QBCC Occupational Licence (Drainer & Plumber)Contractors Plumbing & Drainage LicenceCurrent C Class Drivers LicenceHighly Regarded: Experience working in remote site-based environmentsUnderstanding of mobile camp operationsIVMS experienceAbout you ReliableSafety mindedAble to work unsupervised in remote locationsMust be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screenYou will be working 12 hour days, so will need to be physically fitA "lifestyle" roster of two weeks on and two weeks offPaid trainingMeals & Accommodation provided at NMC's Field Operation Facility and at mobile camps operating throughout Queensland and other statesOpportunity to work in a dynamic and evolving environmentWhere to from here?
