As a Registered Nurse - ICU, your responsibilities will include: Support the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation, and evaluation of excellent standards of evidence-based, person-centered patient care. Demonstrate professional practice as evidenced by adhering to AHPRA professional standards, code of ethics and conduct, legislative requirements, and Healthscope's policies and processes. Foster a learning environment through clinical presentations to support the nursing team with their professional development, maintaining own professional learning, and providing supervision and teaching to peers, ENs, graduates, and students. Act as a valued member of the inter-disciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care by actively contributing to team processes and practices. Collaborate with external partners to ensure patients receive high-quality care across the healthcare continuum. Maintain professional and constructive working relationships with our VMO partners, using a customer service mindset to enable high-quality patient outcomes. Current Registration with AHPRA & Working rights in Australia. 5+ years experience in an acute surgical or cardiac ward setting. Commitment to Quality Patient Care. Compliance with ACQSHC National standards. Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Works well independently and within a team. Post Graduate Certificate in ICU, HDU, or CCU (or working towards) is desirable. 3+ years' experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute ICU or HDU setting.
