About the Role:
We’re seeking a passionate Clinical Governance and Improvement Specialist to join our team at Juniper, based at our central office in Balcatta. This full-time role reports to the Director of Clinical Governance and Improvement and plays a vital part in ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centered care across all Juniper services.
You’ll work closely with our operational teams to provide expert clinical guidance and leadership across our aged care settings. Your focus will be on clinical governance, evidence-based practice, compliance, and continuous improvement – all aimed at enhancing outcomes for our residents and clients.
You’ll also support staff development, deliver training and mentoring, and participate in working groups or committees to champion quality and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide clinical advice and leadership across aged care services
* Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and NDIS requirements
* Lead and support continuous improvement projects and clinical risk reviews
* Mentor, train and upskill care and clinical staff
* Conduct audits, root cause analysis and support service excellence
* Collaborate with key stakeholders and external regulators
* Report on trends, quality indicators, and action plans
Key Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in Nursing or Allied Health with postgraduate qualifications in Gerontology, Clinical Governance or Aged Care Management
* Full Current AHPRA registration
* Strong knowledge of aged care standards, clinical best practice, and risk management
* Proven experience in clinical governance, audits, and quality improvement
* Experience with AN-ACC funding model
* Confident in supporting staff and leading training initiatives
* Previous leadership or advisory experience in aged care
* Sound understanding of Home Care and Support at Home Programs
* Must be available to travel regionally and within metro WA
