Savanna is currently seeking an experienced Workshop Welder position available in our growing Maintenance team.

As a Workshop Welder you will be responsible for welding & other related maintenance tasks to ensure Rigs are maintained and damage etc. attended to in a timely fashion whilst adhering to the appropriate quality, safety and legislative standards.
To apply, you should have:
4. Fabrication Trade Certificate 3 as a minimum requirement
5. Current C (car) class driver’s license
What you'll be doing:
6. Read engineering, schematic and mechanical diagrams, drawings or specifications to determine job requirements
7. Inspect, service and repair rig equipment as needed to ensure reliable performance
8. Complete fabrication or remedial welding to trade qualifications
9. Perform fabrication repairs to equipment maintained to company requirements
10. Perform fabrication repairs to equipment in accordance with legislative and manufacturers requirements
11. Provide effective support to rigs, camps and the maintenance departments daily
12. Use and operate all equipment in accordance with company and client policy and procedures
13. Manage 3rd party work, quality and invoicing, ensuring that third party work orders are completed in a timely manner
14. Conduct all work in accordance with current legislative and industry specific requirements
15. Keep abreast of changes in industry standards and regulations
16. Work within the scope of your trade qualification
